Martin Sheen's watch in Apocalypse now?

Does anyone know what watch Martin Sheen is wearing on the film:
    Apocalypse now??

It looks a Seiko diver to me?

Yes the 6105-8110 is a must have watch for the Seiko enthusiast...
It's one of the most comfortable watches that I own... 8)

I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen that movie. Strange and sick but wonderful at the same time, lol :) Had no clue what watch he was wearing, but I have to admit wondering about it before.

    I'm getting really annoyed now that I don't have a 6105.

My name is Steve and I'm a Seiko addict... :drunken:

When did you send in your watch? Mine went to IWW in early February ... :? :(
    Cheers,

    Hi Martin,

Mine was send to them the end of april...

yours is still there aswell?????

Maybe if I had realised the waiting list was so long I would have looked for an alternative.

Are there any good alternatives in europe?

    On the otherhand,
I am wearing my yao monster and my ti samurai in turns now to keep them wound and on time...with a third automatic and no watchwinder I would need a better schedule.

A year or two ago 6105s were selling for around £200 or more for really excellent examples with original straps. I've noticed recently that they are selling for not much over £110.

Maybe there are more around than the market can stand, despite their apparent popularity. I also notice that they seem to sell for more on fleabay than in collectors' for sale forums like TZ-UK.

Has anyone else noticed this recent collapse in the 6105 market?

Being Seiko they would have made millions.

When owners saw they were fetching good money many put them up for sale.

More on the market price goes down.
    Cheers,
    Neil.
