Ok, as a total Omega noob I spotted the helium release valve in the wrong position and a crappy bezel pip. Are the '6' and '9' the wrong style/font too? What else have I missed!

There is nothing similar to genuine on that watch: dial, hands, crown, case, ridiculous bracelet and the cartoonish box and papers.
Dear lord, if somebody bids on that

holy crap....
What a crappy bracelet...and the 6 and 9 are just one upside down, the bezel looks like if was filed in a shed with blunt file and as for the Helium valve...
Man o man
& the cards are genuine fakes too.
It's just a matter of time...
Will just have to wait for his wonderful, totally genuine Tiffany jewellry to hit the market, his girlfriend must feel really special - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290662175798
Bargain at 1400.
Let's bid it up to £1000 0000
I must appreciate the audacity of the seller to post the fake cards, fake reciepts & obviously the fake watch & then top is up with false information that he purchased from E. Jones
Pity the poor buyer who has limited knowledge of these watch & falls prey to these twats :x
you can see from the side that the bracelet is cheap copy.
This is awful, isnt there anything we can do to punish these sellers? Like call some fraud team or something?
I sent him a message saying "awful fake. You're basically trying to rob someone of £1400...which makes you a c**t"
Wonder what his reply will be?
best you can do is report the item to ebay, they do tend to react quite quickly in removing the item but then this is only one watch in a sea of cr@p.Originally Posted by kaiserphoenix

His reply to me was
"This watch is 100% authentic but your entitled to you opinion lol"
To which I wrote
"I'm entitled to my opinion...I'm also entitled to state facts. I owned the real version of that watch. And that piece of shit you're trying to sell isn't even close...the clasp is laughable, omega have never made a clasp with a button only on one side haha!!"
And his latest reply
"So if your not buying it ... Whats it too you lol"
Arse hole
Omega's view on this lovely item....
I would steer well clear of buying that piece. Firstly, the warranty card is different to the ones we use at the moment. Secondly it is conveniently displayed NOT showing the serial number. Thirdly, the reference number it does show is NOT for that watch. For further proof, I would suggest contacting the buyer for a serial number, which I can run through our database.
I cannot guarantee it is NOT a genuine omega watch without the serial number, but I can point out the signs, and I wouldn’t want to risk it myself.
Best regards,
Sam Kessler

The "bidding the item up very high option and really pissing him off" approach strikes me as being more attractive.Originally Posted by Petej2811

eBay is littered with fake shite
Years ago when I used to buy and sell Stone Island clothing, 99% of the S.I stuff on ebay was jeckyl. Not even good copies but 'stands out a mile' jeckyl crap
ebay didn't seem to give a flying one about it
Ebay are not really bothered as at end of the day they make money if it's real or fake
it got reportedOriginally Posted by Petej2811

Look at this on eBay:
Omega Seamaster 600m/2000ft
http://bit.ly/ySajbp
It's item number 290677760023 anyway
He insists the reference number and paperwork are correct for this model, despite the fact Omega themselves have confirmed it isn't...cheeky sod. hope someone doesn't get conned here...
It's still on report it guys or let's bid it up to £1000,000
I have started the baiting with questions about f2f deals and cash :D
Apparently it is only 3 months old and he brought it from Ernest Jones for £2800!!!!!
Hmmm...really tempted now for this obviously genuine fake! :drunken:
Has one bid on this piece of crap.
Makes my piss boil with these wasters

I was reading about fakes today and lots of articles were saying about how they were getting better and better... I can count on 2 fingers the number of Omega watches I've looked at in any detail and even I can see that Planet Ocean is a terrible fake!
Wel done Pete.. I've just tried to outbid you but you're obviously very keen to win.. :lol:Originally Posted by Petej2811

I look forward to hearing their response!
Out of curiosity, how do you get Omega to verify a serial number? I've got a preowned watch purchase pending and fired off a query via their website asking to verify the serial.. just wondered if that was the right route in?
Cheers.
Nice one Pete don't forget the bad feedback
I am enjoying this thread and well done for getting the rubbish of the bay 8)
Me too, I love things like this. Have you ever come across http://www.419eater.com/index.php - it's a site dedicated to scamming the scammers!Originally Posted by Dangermouse64

Funnily enough I had a scam phone call the other day, the usual "I am calling from Microsoft and we have detected strange activity coming from your PC, please click on the link we send you and it will fix your malware problem".
I kept him on the phone for nearly 40 mins before he worked out that I probably wasn't actually clicking on the link he sent me (I was just pretending ). He actually got extremely annoyed down the phone at me.
Going completely off topic now, but I have just read this one from start to finish:Originally Posted by Petej2811
