nice work
I dont know if it is already a topic, but i couldnt find it after a quick search.
One of the things I like is to give watches a second life.
So, here a few of my projects:
A citizen quartz diver.

Great work there! very impressed..
Great work.
Good work. Not to sure about the 24 hr bezel on the Citizen.
Amazing work, would love to have this level of skill myself to own a watch I had 'made' myself
Excellent work 8)
Cheers

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
Very nice work
Amazing, well done.
Very nice. Where did you get the bezel insert?
Somewhere on Ebay. I dont know where anymore, sorry
I picked the closest to the dimensions I needed. Has to adjust it a little to make it fit.
John
I am even more impressed that you turned the Citizen into a Casio...
Cousins (UK Watch Parts supplier) do various generic bezel inserts - range of sizes too, so if anyone's looking.....
Good work on the Seiko, alternative hands are tidy too
:D :D Youre the first who mentioned it :D :D

Did you really put a Casio dial on the Citizen? I noticed but thought it was a typo.
No, it is a typo....
Good skills, what sort of time frame to achieve those results :?:
@ g40steve: abt 1 episode of Idols or Holland got Talent
God that Citizen was super cool to begin with! Nice work though :)
caramba
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Hard to believe its the watches, nice work!
Nice work. Do those bezels just snap into place?
Nice work ,could you be bothered to do a step by step guide to help complete noobs like me start in the tinkering world?

@3xlucky: Most bezels need some adjusting.
@need more watches: Sorry I don't have the time to make how to's. You can ask me whatever you like and if I can I will answer/help you.
Basics are covered in a lot of websites, where you can find step by step guides to work on watches.

Very nice work.
I am truely amazed at such a transformation, how long did it take.
Incredible
Amazing turn-around, what astonishing results!
Looks great! How were the movements, when they looked superficially so bad ? Did you just clean&oil, have to replace parts or whole movements?
The Casio had a good, clean movement. I just changed the battery.
I gave the Seiko an complete service/overhaul. I do that with all mechanic watches. This one also got a knew balance.
When I service a watch, I take it apart, clean the parts in ultrasonic bath, check the parts, especialy the pinions, and put it al together again, oiling along the way.
I will post more examples of befores and afters if you want. At the moment I am working on 2 orange Seikos (for the European Championship, and I am from Holland  ), and just finished a yellow one, all Seiko divers (7s26-0020 and 7002-7000)

That's great work. Giving a new lease of life to a watch is a passion of mine, via a watchmaker. Wish I could do this sort of work. Congrats!
That's amazing! How long!
Love the hand set on the Seiko. Thinking of doing similar on a 007.
Outstanding work there, really impressive changes. Really does open my eyes to more watches that i would have dismissed previously due to condition.
Looks great, well done!
Excellent work there, they look brand new
Very nice!!!
Really nice work!
astonishing work ! 8)
