this came into my hands today, had a look in it and it seems its a gmt master with a 1575 movement dated the 3rd quarter '72, the guy who owns it served with the omani police and had this given to him, he said all the ones "issued" had brown dials.
can anyone let me have anymore info and an idea of value?,
cheers

This is also 1972.
This looks like the one:

I think the OP's is a 1675 and not a 16713 or 16753Originally Posted by fivelittlefish

I like it, but would want a new bezel insert for it.
I reckon that looks right but surely the Oyster bracelet will affect value as it won't be original?Originally Posted by phil h
thanks for the link phil, sure looks like the watch, however the owner assures (sp) me that its had the same bracelet since it was issued to him!!!Originally Posted by phil h
nice but worn nipple dial,
seen them for around 3 to 4 k usd depending on the condition of the TT oyster
if its a officaly issued omani watch it should most likely have the full serial inside the caseback
most valueable in issued arabic watches are the ones with logodials
check for omani dials on vrf there are a few around

would like to see more photos.
The end links to that bracelet look wrong to me. You could drop it off at Rolex for a service - even if they do no work they can quote you a service cost and give you info about it. It definitely needs a service!
1675/3 "Root Beer" or "Clint Eastwood" - one of the few I regret selling!
Oft seen on a Jubilee, but pretty sure the Oyster is fine too :)
