I love it - can't wait to see how the season goes. Also can't wait for the Moto GP season.

I love cars and bikes - but mostly watches - as I can almost afford them.
It's just a matter of time...

My thoughts are that again the WSS will be more entertaining than the big bikes. Lets hope Chaz does well in Imola having missed the first race.

In the big bikes my money would be on Carlos Cheka again, with Max Biaggi his main rival.

I hope Haslam & Rea have better seasons. Tom Sykes will often show strongly to start & then work his way backwards as the races progress as is his normal M.O.

Always takes me a few races to form an opinion.. initial thoughts:

Impressed how sykes went, never been a fan (he was an arse in the paddock when I worked in BSB) but impressive 1st weekend - nice to see a kwak at the sharp end, hope it can stay there.

Checa's highside was interesting - the biggest mistake he's made in a long time. He could easily win again this year as he's consistent, something which I think lets biaggi down.
I think Rea will be good when he gets into his stride, think Haslams lost it.

Hoping one/some of the others (smrz/melandri/hopper/camier/laverty) can step up and get a good run of podiums. Also interested to watch Chaz!

I'm hoping too that we'll get more guys running up front that Checa and Biaggi. As you say, we'll have to wait and see :?

You think it's Haslam or the bike? - he's always been (as far as I can remember) as very keen competitor.

I have to ask, is Biaggi's bike something special or is it he and the bike gelling.

I could not believe how well he did in the second race

When he's good, he's world class. Just not consistent enough to win world champs in my eyes.

Biaggi looked like he was back on a 250 with the corner speed he was getting. He really should have ridden 800cc MotoGP bikes, would have suited his style more.
Hopefully he won't run away with it this season.
