Recommendations for a slate grey dialed watch

To save me hunting around the net looking at thousands of models, I'm thinking about a slate grey dialed watch, used or vintage - preferably a chronograph. Just for some kind of reference, I'm thinking old style Flieger, Breitling, or for non-chrono - a PAM possibly.

I think I saw that, if it's the one I'm thinking of, it was fantastic.

PAM's 91, 106, 170 and 86 come to mind all with anthracite dials as i'm sure you know, and all 8) I would star the 91 and 106 as my personal favourites.

Don't know if you like the style but Uniform Wares has a grey chrono:

The Ball Chronometer Red Label has a very interesting grey dial with a subtle "corduroy" pattern to it.

The specific model I am thinking of is: NM2026C-SCJ-GY

I too have been searching for a slate grey watch...

The ones I have seen in steel (many seem to be offered in gold):

    Chopard Mille Miglia GMT
    Girard Perregaux WWTC Worldtime+Chrono Grey
    Tag Heuer Link Chronogrpah
    New IWC Spitfire Chronograph
    Omega AQT Chronograph
    Union Glashutte Belisar
    Sinn 756 Diapal
Longines Conquest Chronograph and Admiral Chronograph
Tag Heuer Carrera Lewis Hamilton Ltd
Tag Heuer Jack Heuer Cal 17 80th birthday (the basel 2012 release) - light gray with slate subdials

If you don't need a chrono:

Numerous offerings from Maurice Lacroix and Raymond Weil
    Union Glashutte Noramis (various)
Zenith Heritage Elite Ultra Thin and Heritage square
Omega Deville Prestige Small Second and Deville Prestige Automatic
    Omega AQT 8500
    Omega Hour Vision Annual Calendar
Perregaux WWTC small second / ss + power reserve
Chopard LUC Classique Steel small second
Chopard LUC 1937 (I think) limited
    Breitling Cockpit & Galactic

Had a Rolex Date with a slate grey dial that looked copper-ish in bright sunlight. Beautiful dial.

Might be a bit light, but the Steinhart Marine Chronographwhich is very similar to an old PAM chrono:

I've got the blue version and its a stunner.

My Speedy ( http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/speed ... w/35945000 ) has a somewhat gray dial although perhaps a tad darker than what you seek. Because of the bezel it has an overall decidedly gray appearance. It was discontinued years ago so a used one is the only option.

    Something different...

Shturmanskie, choice of reissue or vintage...

I'm wearing right now on an old battered leather strap.

This is one of my current fave's. My only criticism of that particular version is the numerals appear quite shiny, the upcoming version is slightly neater IMO. That nubuck aligator strap looks lovely.

Buy a 757 DIAPAL, and when you grow tired of it, I'll buy it from you. :P

There's a Breitling B1 on SC at the moment, that has a grey dial.

I'd recommend the M1 with the grey dial, but then i would be biased :D

I love everything about it, the slightly raised numbers with the black surround, the red tip on the hands, the colour of the dial, the sub dials, just everything about it really
