I really like the effect I've got on the Geneva Stripes/Glashütte Ribbings.

Lovely shot. The light really shows the detail off superbly.

The clasp is awesome but GO have change it this year for a more basic model.

    Here is some cloeup's.

I've got my clasp updated with ceramic balls for free because there was some problems with the steel balls.

Absolutely stunning. Looks like you had quite a lot of time behind the camera recently, some fantastic pictures are coming from your end.

Jocke, any chance for a straight comparison new model / old model PanoInverse?

You got me confused with your earlier remarks about bezel size.

    Tack så mycket

Sorry I only have a bad pic from the GO meeting in Basel where you can see
the space between the case and the balance bridge I talk about.

Then with the lack of bezel now it looks like the backcase is at the front.

    Cracking photos there Jocke. 8)

Have you ever been approached by any companies asking to use some of your pictures ? I ask as the ones you take are always way better than those taken by the watch companies themselves for their websites or catalogue's.

I think it pretty clear the old model looks far better balanced on the Inverse, all the features look a bit lost on the new dial. With the PML, I'm not so sure.

This is some serious clasp  Lovely piece of engineering. No disappointments there.

I've a clasp fetish and place a lot of significance on clasp design as we fiddle with it whenever we put on our watches.

Again, many thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the photos, I am getting it now. Glashütte Original must easily have the worst website of all manufacturers, no decent photos of any of their watches available. I have the catalogue and that is a nice piece, but I suggest they hire a couple of web marketing staff.

Anyone have picture of PanoMaticLunar old versus new? Does the new design apply to both the standard and XL versions?

These 3 are from the GO website.

This is one from Jocke's (Hope he doesn't mind!)

To me, the new dial is an improvement - I'm not 100% with the large indices on the XL especially - and the blued hands on the silver dial look really nice.

The suede effect strap is lovely (but that's available on both new and old if you go for an XL).

What I'm not sure about is the new bezel. I don't think the thinner bezel frames the sub-dials as well as the thicker one. It's ok if you want a formal looking watch as they make it look more dressy, but I like the slightly more rugged look of the old style Pano's.

So here we have the perfect comparison then old (below) versus new (above)? Or is this 39mm versus XL?

There is no longer XL and regular (42mm and 39mm) with the thicker bezel, only 40mm with the thinner one - which efectively make the watch look bigger anyway. Those pictures compare the new 40mm above to the old XL below.

Now I am truly confused? Both their website and their catalogue still carry 39mm and 42mm models, but no 40mm.

Found it, they have a "News" section with the info. What a lousy website, don't they have certain standards at Swatch Group?

...and here is the new PanoInverse XL, now I agree with Jocke that the design is a step backwards. (I quite like the new PML, though)

Yes, it's not the best. You have to hunt around a bit.

The new 40mm is not going to be available until Aug/Sept, but I presume they are winding down production of the 39 and 42 and selling through what is left. Whether this means there are going to be bargains on the old models remains to be seen.
