John - that's the Globemaster which is only available to C17 drivers. The Worldtimer is slightly different:

I like the look of this. The 24 hour hand is behind the hour hand when not in use.

Of course, there's always this one, the quality of which I was blown away by...

Have a look at a JLC Dualtime MC. They are stunning and reasonable 2nd hand

The solution? OK, it's a temporary solution, but it'll do for a bit! The Panerai 352 is still favorite, but I won't be able to afford it this summer - it might have to wait for 2013(!) So, a member got in touch and sold me this. I know it's not on a bracelet, but the Hirsch Jumbo is solid enough, and a good match for the watch. I've owned a CA M1 before, and like the functionality. Plus this one has had a recent batter change, and is pretty new. It'll keep me going for a bit, I hope!

Thanks for everyone who made suggestions. (And as a final note, I'm quite pleased with the quality of this pic, given that I snapped it and cropped it a couple of minutes ago with my iPhone 4s!)

I reckon that's a pretty good [temporary] solution - let me know when you want to pass it on....

Not really high-end and probably (if I understood correctly) an office GMT,

What about a Reverso GMT ?

Unfortunately my picture only shows the 'home' time but the reverse shows the travel time on a black dial. The pushers step the travel time forwards or backwards.

    Cheers

You should not quarrel with a fellow Swede!
BTW, I'm sure he likes it better now!

Have a look at the Chronomat GMT 44. I think this is one seriously good looking watch!

Have to agree with WingTsun, a Seiko spring drive SBGE001 would be ideal i think:

Very accurate spring drive movement, i would say its so accurate that if set against an atomic clock you could use it to measure your relative time difference gained from traveling at high speeds and at a slightly lower gravitational pull for a long time (would have to be a VERY long flight, but i have often wondered if this was possible, and if it was then the only way i could see it being possible would be through the use of an atomic clock or a very accurate constant sweeping second hand watch, like with a spring drive. ... Please ignore this as rambling mad thoughts, as even atomic clocks only differ very slight when set against each other, when one goes off on a long plane journey and one stays. They tend to be out by only a few decays, so i doubt it would be noticeable on a watch )

Anyway, yeah a Seiko spring drive SBGE001, 72 hours hour reserve, independent hour hand, and brilliant lume, interesting bezel, complete inhouse and something a littler different.

All in all makes a pretty perfect GMT watch IMO.

(BTW in over a week still keeping spot on time, down to the tenth of a second )

Or theres the old reliable omega GMT, either the great white or the two tone bezel which Pierce Brosnan sported for a while

Heres a pictures of my Great White, which although a lovely watch is now somewhat shadowed by the arrival of the Seiko spring drive, so will probaly be on the SC someday soon.
