not too keen on the mesh look, but the head is very nice. Very individual.
IMO looks good on black alligator
^I agree it looks better on leather. A rallye style strap would be my choice.
Mesh dont do it for me. I would go with black leather which make killer combo!

That IS the watch that Omega should have offered instead of the stupid idea of the limited edition panda that they did release. Just imagine how many Panda Speedmasters they would
sell in that configuration instead of the miserly few ltd ones that they did sell. I note that the automatic Date model has a dial variant very similar to yours but it is not a pro
It's nice but in a weird kind of way... I guess I just wouldn't have one like that myself.

I think for me it works best on OEM brown alligator...plus a better picture on black alligator

Great stuff MFB, looks fantastic on alligator, seeing a lot of modding of speedies lately, some fantastic options available.
Looks great - given the large and varied number of old parts (dial, hands, case, bezel) available, I'm surprised not to see more modified Speedmasters. There are so many official variants (not to mention individual country versions) that you can hardly question the bearing of something custom! Omega have bought out some ghastly watches of late inc that nasty new X-MYEYES-R-BURNING moon to blind school edition.
Perhaps thay should look at watches that enthusiasts make like this one to remember what they do best :)
I'm still wanting to put the pre 57 style braodarrow hands on my speedie so this has reminded me to pull my finger out :wink:

This particular custom job is stunning also. Some of these custom jobs look so much more appealing than the vast majority of those cheesy LEs that Omega throw out.
Looks great and perfect on the leather - gator for smart or rally for casual. Don't like the broad arrow hands so much so think you made a good choice.
I'm not normally so keen on the silver bezel for the speedie, but I think this looks great!
