Cool shots Dave, I like lume too, to the extent that if it has no lume or the lume is rubbish, it won't last very long..... 8)

In another thread earlier, I mentioned that I needed to get a lume shot of my DC57, so I got out the camera this evening (and then the battery died). I thought I'd put all of the lume shots I have up in one thread, please join in!
DC57 after a quick blast with the torch:
Eterna KonTiki Sport:
Sinn 656:
Omega Seamaster GMT:
Lume is one of those things I rather like in a watch (hence why I was attracted to the DC57), don't really know why, I just do!
I'll have a go at getting a few others over the evening as well (as I've just found my spare set of camera batteries). :D

PRS-17
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
A couple more:
PRS-14
(Brightness slightly pulled up to get some of the watch detail visible.)
Marcello C Nettuno 3
(Again, brightness slightly pulled up to bring the rest of the watch into view.)
Zeno Explorer
I quite like the shots where the watch itself is also visible, like a couple of the ones I opened the thread with, which is down to taking the shot at twilight so there is some extra ambient light about (or possibly with the landing light on outside my study).

I'm a big lume fan, but I have a couple of watches (Stowa Antea and Marine) with no lume at all!Originally Posted by sparmar1

The great lume is one of the big surprises I had with the PRS-14. Especially the lume on the bezel. That was a bonus!!

Here's a bunch from watches now & before :D
Modified Certina DS-3 (Yao Plongeur dial and DN hands),

SM120m Chronograph,
SM300 Watchco,
RXW MM20,
Breitling Seawolf,
Seiko BM,

Seiko MM1000m/SBBN011

Modified Tissot Seastar (Yao Plongeur hands),

Dave, excepting vintage watches I think I need lume on everything!
Stefan, I'm gonna get a tripod now!!! Superb :-)
Sanj
I think that DC57 is FAB! Saving for one, slowly...
My amateur attempts:
IWI Pilot
The big 'un: Azimuth Bombardier.
More to follow, when I find 'em.
GSAR in twilight
I have to admit to having a bit of an penchant for things that glow in the dark. A self portrait might explain...
My favourite lume shot of my watches - the O&W Mirage Mk III:
But here's some we all know - PRS-6
PRS-11 (black dial)
and PRS-53
They are all taken with (the same) very little light, f22 and 30 seconds exposure. I haven't upped the brightness on any of them.

Any lume shot thread needs Seiko, of course. Seiko 5
and Seiko Spirit
Here are a few lume shots (some from ex watches).
Best wishes,
Bob
I haven't done the Steelfish yet......... nor many of my other watches....
Great pictures, all!
I want to play too, but I only have one dark room shot. A Luminox 801 with tritium tubes:

Gert
One of the coolest lume shot I've seen, outstanding Bob. 8)Originally Posted by rfrazier

I agree. There's a lot of depth there.Originally Posted by S.L

Do you have a high-res pic of this one Bob?

Very impressive, guys! Here's a couple I did a while back:
Citizen Wingman . .
. . and a comparison shot
Top: Wingman again
Left: Trench watch with a SL re-lume
Bottom: Hamilton military watch with a SL re-lume
Right: Citizen NightHawk (brightest non-tritium lume I've seen).

I don't think so. Sorry. The dial doesn't exist any longer, I suspect, and I don't remember the circumstances of the photo. However, if I were doing some forensic photo work, I think that I would have come to the conclusion that that dial is not encased.
Best wishes,
Bob
Probably why it looked so cool.Originally Posted by rfrazier
Mind you, if it had been encased it would have been one distortion-free crystal on that  .
Please do take more pics from that perspective in your upcoming projects. :)

Just found this old one out with me no longer Citizen Nighthawk
Cheers Mal
My Seiko SKZ205J (Seiko 5 Diver's 40th anniversary LE) - it has by far the best lume of any watch I own.
Cheers,
...is reason enough to post a version of this pic:
Keep 'em coming, some great shots here! I do like the blue lume on the Nighthawk, very cool 8)
