My lad has just been to town here in Sheff and it looks like something's going off in town...
There are a number of very nice looking cars parked outside the town hall, meebe the councillors have all decided to show their faces on the same day:lol:

Walked past those on the way to grab a recession-busting sandwich...
They scarpered as soon as the first drops of moisture fell from the sky so as not to get them wet. Big girl's blouses. What do they expect in Sheffield? The Ford GT sounded rather fruity on blipping the throttle 8)
I saw some tasty motors heading in a convoy down the Mosborough Parkway at about 08:45 this morning. A smattering of private registrations whizzed past on their way towards the city, closely followed by some lads in a VTI Honda Civic, who dared to dream they could keep up whilst bouncing the rev-limiter as per usual Civic style.
Perversely, Holland and Barrett normally does their own sandwiches for less than a quid - packaged in clear, unbranded plastic with hand-written labels. Slightly hippy flavours, but to be expected. Today alas they didn't have any in so I went to co-op round the corner for their meal deal - crayfish and mango salad, large sausage roll and a bottle of pop for three quid.Originally Posted by GC8

Think thats City Hall opposite John Lewis, the Town Hall is about 100 mtrs away.

Nowt wrong with an eleven year old Civic, good cars. I'm about to take my 1998 MX5 for its MOT. Would rather drive it than any of the cars in the pics, although I wouldn't mind being rich enough to afford to buy one...

Hold regular meetups and rallys and actually had an event on the M6 toll 2 weeks ago, including an Enzo, Aventador, 959, 599 GTO + about 60 others

A few years ago I fancied a li'l sports job, always wanted an MG but it was a toss up between a Midget and an MX5, I opted for a Midget to 'do up'..
Wish i'd gone for the MX5 now as the Midget is still in the garage (Health reason put the damper on the resto :P ), I reckon the Mazda would have been the easier option now :wink:

Was certainly a day to remember, and some of the craziest driving I've ever seen (within national speed lims of course :P ), the convoy to pageant of power throuygh the country roads was some of the most fun I've had behind the wheel.
