Welcome Skip, enjoy the forum.
Always nice to see newbie's post photos with their introductions, could just about see yours mate
Good evening all.
I've been lurking around here for some time now and must apologize for not joining in sooner! (I did try to join a few times earlier but only resently found it was work hours only for registering)
I have always appreciated a nice watch, but my bug really bit 2 years ago when I started looking at mechanical watches online and in shop windows. The urge continued to grow until I walked into an AD's door at 10am on new years day 2011 and walked out the proud owner of an Oris TT1 Titan Date (a watch I still love as my first "real" piece)
My tastes are pretty much for the tool/divers styles watches. As stated I prefer mechanicals, but also appreciate quartz and digi's - if I likes it I likes it!
I hope to be able to add something to this great place - even if it's just a bit of Kiwi humour! (been in the UK for 16 years now but god's own will always be home!)
Si.
Here's a quick group shot. Sorry if the pic/size is not right but may take some time to get my head around it all

Hi WingTsun
This is the only forum I've joined so must be another Skip out there.
My names Simon (or Si) .
All the best.
Welcome. Great collection. Oris are a great place to start, finish or even in the middle!
Greetings to you to Skip, welcome!
Hi Si, lived in NZ as a kid for a few years. Welcome aboard!
" if I likes it I likes it! " - perfect ethos and what makes this forum so interesting!
Welcome!
Hej Si, welcome and a nice collection you got.

Dave

Great collection...
Guy's
Thanks for all the comments.
Dave+63 - would love to have a crystal ball and see were I'm at in 6 months! It takes all my will power now not to buy every watch that takes my fancy (lack of funds usually puts paid to that, but where there's a will...) I'm sure being on here will make it even harder!
Si.
Hi and welcome to the forum Skip, I too like your Velatura, great looking watch.
Welcome from across the pond
