My little Seiko collection -photo shoot

I really love all of my Seikos. Great quality, great movements, crown @ 4, and I love the progression of the divers cases and dials.
I guess you all know the models, but if you don't:

    Top watch: Seiko sumo
    Bottom watch: 6309-7040
    Right watch:modded skx171.

    full size pic

The 6309 has a double domed crystal, original relumed dial and is fitted on my home made leather nato

    full size pic

The skx171 is modded by me. It has a skx007 bezel, a ceramic bezel insert, samurai hour and second hand, and is fitted on a super oyster bracelet

    full size pic

The Seiko sumo is original and fitted on a timefactors retro rubber

Nice watches. Funny how the sloping ceramic bezel totally changes the look of the watch

Every watch collection should have a Seiko diver (or three)!

    Hi mate.
Thanks for sharing those. I'm a big fan of Seiko divers, and a Sumo owner as well. IMO the best value for money mid level diver out there.
    Cheers.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! I've not got the best camera, but after some NXView2 and photoshop, I think the pictures turned out pretty good. -At least zoomed out.

I must admit I like psts when great effort has gone in to create it, so thanks for that

I must try a Sumo, surprisingly one of the few I've never ownde, but like always, I go up and down the Seiko range and can't get any better than my trusty 6309.

The 6309 is my favourite. I think everybody should try one in their collection at some point in time.

    Three very nice pieces.

Can't really go wrong with a Seiko diver.

I have a couple of Skx007's. Where would I get the sloping bezel from? are they easy to fit?

Ebay. Search for bezel. They are easy to fit, but not a perfect fit, as you can see from the photos. Some like it, some don't. I love it.

In terms of bang for buck, you can't beat a Seiko.

    Here are my current offerings;

Nice to see you settled on the Timefactors retro rubber for the Sumo, it's the one I ended up with as well, a nice alternative to the Seiko bracelet.

    all the best

Indeed, Seiko does deliver great value. Got a panda chrono for work and an orange monster for weekends.

Lovely trio of Seiko divers I'd say.

    Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

    Nice watches and great pics.

I really want a Sumo. Is it too early to write a Christmas list?
