    Aquatimer vs PO vs Superocean

Which would you choose on a pound for pound basis ie assuming you have a fixed budget and therefore may be compromising on age or condition to get the IWC or PO compared to the Bretling? Pre-owned.

    1) IWC Aquatimer 1000
    2) Omega PO 41/42mm on rubber
    3) breitling Superocean 41/42mm on rubber

    Thanks

Honestly i'd say pound for pound this is a hard one, the PO is a good all rounder, lume, looks, able to look good on both rubber and bracelet and you get a choice of dial colours should you want. The IWC works really well on rubber, not so on the bracelet, and looks really cool and slightly different from the run of the mill PO and Heritage, the later of which I personally don't like. But if it were my money, id look at either a NOS {STS }Build Omega SM300 an SMP 2254 or top of my list a Bremont SM500. Any of these are a better choice in my opinion.

Of these three I think the PO has the nicest design with clues to the old SM 300. I think the AT is not as pretty as its forebears, and I would not take the SO because of the rubber bezel-inlay. So Omega it is.

I like them all, model dependent, so I'd go, Omega, AQ and then SO.
It's just a matter of time...

They are all nice - why not try and see if you can wear find each of them to try on and see what you like the most on your wrist?

Me, it'd be the PO, it's the most iconic of them and is a joy to wear.

The draw of the IWC would be strong...

The SO is pale in comparison, IMO.

Just picked up an AT 1000 so +1 for those. Really love the ATs although the current blingy ones are a bit iffy.

i would go for the iwc, i think it is a better looking watch than the po.
the breitling is far too bling for me(as are the majority of the range)

If we're talking new, 8500 movement, Planet Ocean, I'd have it in a flash. Even with the 2500 I'd probably go PO for looks and accuracy, but I'd be tempted by the IWC for the "what is it - never seen one of those before" potential. Avoid the B'ling.

I would go for the IWC, but biased as I have a vintage AT on the way :)

We're all biased - that's the beauty of it, it's all about opinions.

Thanks for all the comments everyone
