I'm a day late to the party, but i have just put this old bird on again:
I think something worrying may be happening- why have more watches than wrists and why not just have one watch that covers all the bases effortlessly?
I think it may be the 40+ degree day i have just been through with the help of a pool and beer fridge talking there...
Bit late but was this uploadfromtaptalk1354353069818.jpg
A bit late, sorry. It's very hot here at the moment, so this summer watch (strap) for most of the week.
Gone into the weekend in a classic
RIAC
Crikey - where are all the Friday posts - isn't it about 12 pages by Saturday?
I'm wearing the cheapest and most accurate quartz in a plastic case I have. My real watches are at the shop getting tuned up for sale for funds for that newfangled DN-GMT Voyager. Just checking this thread in case you know who posts it here!
Been wearing this for at least 50% of the time since I picked it up off our very own SC - but then I did own one for over 5 years previously;
But I think I am going to swap over and take this one out for lunch :)
Happy days :)
It's just a matter of time...
Seiko SBDB005 around 3500 dollars!
Cheers cb40
I don't remember exactly but I believe it's a little bit over €300. The problem would be finding one... I'm a huge Aristo fan and I'm always more or less on top of things. This one was the first one I'd ever seen and haven't seen another one for sale since. It uses a completely rebuilt in Germany Molnija 3603 and that's a movement that is no longer available, so I'm guessing there were never many of these to start with.
