i'm with you entirely on the rebrand. I didn't make the trip Saturday as had other commitments but I've kept my Season Ticket despite having a 350-mile round trip to make when I get the chance to go.
What do you call yourselves now.........the redbirds?

TBH I was genuinely surprised that something as traditional as the clubs colours being changed at CC was met with such light resistance.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Interestingly most fans are like us, they don't like it but they are willing to look past it for the sake of club survival. We were being wound up by HMRC prior to the investment and the demands that came with it.

We'll probably loose a few hundred fans over it, but its the world of modern football we live in. It could be worse, we could be Wimbledon / MK Dons

I didn't realise things had got so bleak down there, obviously you had to go with the flow or have no club.

I agree re Wimbledon, very bad scene. I used to go down Plough lane quite often in the old days.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

With 3 boys there isn't a lot of time but I squeeze in beekeeping, hillwalking (with the boys), shooting (one or two driven shoots and a little game shooting), bit of photography, nature/birdwatching, collecting old books by local writers and fixing whatever the boys break.

I love cycling... but hate riding in the wet so end up confined to the turbo through winter :(

Here's my steed for the past two years, but it's going to be replaced in March with some Canyon aero loveliness

    Mainly...

... a great deal of this...

... with an obscene amount of this!

Much beer and wine consumption is naturally required after both pursuits, as there is after hillwalking which I do for the rest of the time!

I do a lot of backstage work (crewing, sound, stage managing etc) for a variety of amateur dramatic companies here in Leeds - the main theatre I work in is The Carriageworks Theatre on Millenium square, but I've also crewed at The Grand Theatre & Leeds Playhouse.

I like old cars & am currently modding/restoring a Reliant Scimitar SS1 - thread here: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...ebuild-upgrade - should be a fun car when done :)

Beyond the above two - pubs, beer, cinema, wildlife, walks on the coast & blobbing in front of the telly :) :)

A whole host of things but the two main drains on the old bank balance are Travel and Wine.

I watch quite a lot of sport; massive boxing fan, the NFL (Chicago Bears) and the NHL hockey when the b@stards are playing...

I love cooking, I try and get in the kitchen most evenings. Taken loads of cooking classes all over the World: France, Italy, Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam...

Love the workmanship and the sheer quality of these older models though.

Not easy to find these days.

    Hi Calypso

You have some lovely rifles, must say your Original or Diana mod 50(B?) looks fantastic

I've collected airguns for a while now and prefer the older springers to the modern day Precharged Pneumatics...

You can view mine HERE if you wish...

used to spend ages reading up on motorbike reviews, then ages hunting for the best one available then keep them in the garage for a year (do no miles on them then sell them on) an endless hunt for the ultimate bike.

    Top bikes where,

    Tuono 1000 - super smooth v twin.
VMax 1200 the sound would blow you away of that v4
MV Agusta 750 - unbelievably unconfortable but what a handling machine....

Also had KTM, Buell, Triumph Trident and a speed triple and others....

Now lusting over my next car, not sure what it will be as I have an Alpina at the moment and its such a great car. I'm tempted by the D5 and the Panamera hmmm

I like to cook when I'm home and I bought a smoker this year so have been dabbling with pulled pork and other things (I too am mesmerised by Man vs Food)

I do like to eat at good quality places and enjoy good wine (like many others here)

My proper hobby for the last 3 years has been drumming, play for fun with some mates and we do dreadful covers but its important to do stuff other than work. go have a look for Benny Greb, the thinking mans drummer.

Man v. Food sounds very daytime TV, but assuming you're into smoking in a serious way, what do you think of this? Thinking primarily in terms of what's practical outside a London flat; I can hot or cold smoke anything in reason at my in-laws'.

    Collecting paintings.

collecting limited edition or rare watches is addictive, however with original paintings there is only ever 1 of 1. It can get very expensive!

Cars (BMW 540 and 308GT4) and motorbikes (Superblackbird and Vectrix), but most of my waking time is taken up with my 6 month old daughter or work.
