NEW JLC for 2013 (the affordable ones!) My new grail

    New range for 2013, http://collection.jaeger-lecoultre.c...ollections/new

This is my favourite of the new line up.Its absolutely gorgeous and I could consider selling one of my watches for it! Anyone know the size of the case?
It seems JLC is staying on the right direction of producing stunning watches whilest some watch makers are chasing the oversized monstrosities (new IWC's)

This one for me. Ultra thin and platinum - nice! Traditional definition of a dress watch anyone?

I think the day and month look a lot better there than where they used to be.

Thanks for the link. £12,200 for the one I fancy puts it, not unsurprisingly, out of my reach.

Really like this - it's essentially an updated Master Moon.

Lovely but I like the power reserve on the older calendar. A bit quirky with the new one being more elegant.

I like the big monstrosities from IWC!

The ultra thin for me please, midge's over 4 mm thick, or thin, however you look at it.

Not a massive update to the Master Moon, which I would probably go for instead given the price difference. Lovely watches, make no mistake and fancy one myself.

    Enjoying the Jaeger LeCoultre love

JLC make lovely watches and the new 2013 one above is not that far removed from my 20 year old version - the DNA link is clear. I keep meaning to get a photo of mine on its strap but in the meantime:-

Don't have an accurate figure but should be in line with its predecessor.
    Which is how much?

Nice. Something similar and much more affordable from Wempe:

A bit bigger at 42mm though.

The watch hasnt even been released yet , so that begs the question how te hell can you buy it used , let alone vintage?

I realise that! - I was suggesting that a used / vintage JLC Master (see my pic above - post #19 - for example) is fairly similar to the new one and available for a lot less dosh

The watch in the OP is rather nice to say the least. I'd love to have a moon phase watch at some point - there's just something about them it's hard to pin down. Probably just the fact it's truly unnecessary but impressive nonetheless!

A good excuse to post a couple of pic's of my Master Moon! IMO it's a very clean, uncluttered design. They've maybe just beefed it up slightly, but still kept the proportions neat.

    I am with the OP.

Though, I believe that the day/month would have been nicer in red, as per the above photos, as it makes it, imo, a lot easier to read.
