Interested in trying another browser.
Anyone got a link to Firefox?
Cheers,
Neil.

I' m not trying to raise any alarms here, but did you notice that in the top right-hand corner it says "This site is not associated with Google or Mozilla in any way", so I' m not so sure that this is proper site.Originally Posted by cricketer
Better go to http://www.mozilla.com and download from there.

Firefox is actually my No. 1 choice! I´ve never touched IE again...

Er, http://www.firefox.com :lol:Originally Posted by Neil.C
I use (and like) Firefox - but don't delete IE from your computer!
There are a reasonable number of websites that are poorly coded, and work only with IE. I still need to fire up IE from time to time.

... and it would affect your whole OS. Getting rid of IE is pretty complicated as it sits very deep inside the system.Originally Posted by NikosF

I am a confirmed Firefox person too. You might want to look at Opera too. Some people prefer it and it can emulate IE for those incompatible sites. I haven't run IE in over a year I think...

That is assuming you have got Windows? under yer bonnet, but alas - there are better systems available... ;)Originally Posted by mr1973

Been running Firefox for a few days now and am overall suitably impressed.
Thanks to everyone for your help.
Cheers,

There´s a great extension for firefox, called
ImageBot
Helps loading all sorts of images (from the web or your hardrive) up to imageshack with one click!
Give it a try, you won´t regret it ;-)

I use Firefox at home, but IE at work (annoyingly). With the new tabbed browsing in IE I'm forever dragging links to the tab bar like I do in Firefox, except of course unlike Firefox it doesn't helpfully open it in a new tab...

Handy little add-on for Firefox here - it allows you to right click on a webpage and set auto-refresh rates. Handy for fora and Ebay.

Don't forget to disable it when posting though, or it will refresh just before you have finished entering your witterings!
Re the reloader, ensure it is not enabled for any sites where you are making an online purchase.
