    The 13 is probably the year. These watches are designed for very old people like Tony who can't remember what day, month or year it is. The special function is the dial that tells you if it's day or night in case you wonder why the Post Office is shut at 2am

    That will be the year Paddy, as in 2013 and it did change correctly to the 1st March as a true perpetual does.
