    Rolex Yachtmaster

    Hi guys,

Yesterday I went to Maastricht to pickup this beauty. I am quite surprised how well made it is! Compared to my 94´ GMT. It is also quite a luminious, I have never had Rolex with super-luminova.
Personally I call it Submariner beater. Because it has all the features except it is much, much nicer! :)

    Jakub

Lovely watch, it's the silver dial that contrasts so much with the red second hand.
    Just a stunning beast.

That's beautiful! It would be really hard to decide if I liked that dial or the blue, though. In the end, I think the platinum dial like yours is the one. I love the red lettering and accents. That platinum bezel also beats out the ceramic on the Sub IMO.

    Cheers,
    Carl

They are stunning. Congratulations. I love the way every surface has been made smooth and somehow rounded off. Like a really over engineered Sub.

Thanks guys. It is pitty there is no sunshine in the Belgium at this time. I would make some shiny pics.
    There are few I have.
Without doubts it is the most photogenic watch I have now!

    Congratulations Jakub

    I spotted that at Filipucci

    Great pictures.

The only Rolex that has, so far, tempted me to purchase, although a 5513 might be it's next 'brother' ...

That's stunning. And to my surprise, I'm actually a fan of the platinum bezel!

Probably my favourite watch. Beautiful and extremely comfortable. Great value when bought used.

One of my biggest "not buying when they were sub-£3k" regrets :(

Lovely watch, somehow so different to any other Rolex.

Possibly the most underrated Rolex out there. I'm particularly intrigued by the blue dial version, looks absolutely stunning in photos but have yet to try one on myself.

I have the blue version myself, and would say it looks far better in the flesh, than in the photos.
Tried both versions in the AD, and blue won by some distance.

I think the YM is hugely underrated. One of the most wearable watches around.
I didn't get around to buying one till a few months ago. I went for the traditional platinum dial.

Blue dial version is stunning, I regret selling the one I had although my one criticism is that it does look smaller on the wrist that the Plat/Grey dial version, you can't go wrong with either tbh although the older version is a few thousand pounds cheaper which is why I went for it.
