The debut of my new PRS-28 on the Friday thread... It is a particularly fine watch, and I think a bit unloved. Not sure I have ever seen on on the Friday thread while I've been here???

It was in fact a gift from my other half, she has to listen to me going on about watches so much and this is the one she has always commented on (I guess it looks totally different from the other black face military inspired selection I have, so stands out!!). Well it looks great on the wrist and has real presence... Its going to be on a lot of Friday threads in the future I predict!

This one's growing on me more and more Oli, I think it's great and good to see one on the forum as I've only seen a couple on here (and one of them was Eddie's). When I first saw one I was a bit more like what the hell!? I've ordered it's Russian Cousin recently so I have succumbed to the radio room at last.

    Nice dilemma to have !
The crown guards look more substantial than old subs - a bit like the new sub C - or is it just the angle/lighting ?
Or are all the other vintage Red Subs just well worn :-)

I think it's just the angle and very poor light!

As it's still not quite a week since I collected it, unsurprisingly, it's still this one for me today and the rest of the weekend (probably)...

There is no such thing as poor light - the quality may be fine - just quantity may be "insufficient" for the intended purpose

I haven't worn it for a while and had forgotten just how much I love it, especially on the Cocoa Toshi. :)
