How about a Smiths Big Date from Eddie?

I'd like to buy a watch for my mum for her birthday.
I recently got one for my dad, but he's easy: vintage Russian.
My mum is more difficult. When I ask her what she likes she alludes to a "schoolboy watch". She seems to be describing something very simple and clean, with Arabic numerals, no indices, markings or subdials, round and white.
Here's a picture of the kind of face I think she's talking about. Ignore the gold tone. She wouldn't like that.
So I'm looking for something with a dial that looks similar to that. I don't care if its quartz or mechanical. New, used or vintage all considered. Stainless steel. Budget is up to £100.
Only thing I'll add is she recently put her watch through the washing machine, so something relatively durable would be a bonus.
Go go go!

A Casio MQ-24-7BLL?
I got mine an Achimede 42mm pilot as a pi$$ take, but she liked it as she can read it without her glasses on. :)
Fish
If she's looking for something simple and clean, have a look at a trench watch. A simple no nonsense watch made to last on a soldiers wrist.
I'd say mondaine.
White faces and totally simple.
