I have a business trip to Israel coming up in October which will allow a little recreation time. My colleague there is suggesting we take a brief trip to Eilat to do some snorkeling. Does anyone here have recommendations for the best place to stay and snorkeling locations?

It was a while ago and I can't remember the name of the fourth-rate hotel where we stayed but I do remember that the Holiday Inn looked like a much better proposition. Dolphin reef is worth a visit if it's still there and The Three Monkies is (was) a good drinking hole.
