    My latest addition

Well it took me a while to find the right one but this has recently come my way in response to a WTB. Thanks to the seller and I hope you don't mind me using your photo - it's a much better shot than my limited photography skills could muster up.

I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful watches I have ever handled. The dial is amazing and the whole feel of the watch just is in another league.

I think this will be a keeper for me.

That is very nice. Just the right side of bling, and a super dial combination - enjoy!

One of the nicest gold watches I have seen. My AD had one of these in as a used watch - I think it was on a bracelet thouhg - the dial is just something else - very very nice.
It's just a matter of time...

    That is drop dead gorgeous.

Needs the matching bracelet in my opinion, its like half the value of the watch is missing

    Beautiful piece still, Congrats

Thank you gents for all the nice comments.

As for the bracelet version all my other watches are on bracelets and so I wanted a strap version.

Also I think this dial with the YG bracelet is very blingtastic and I probably would shy away from wearing it.

Also it's a heck of a lot of wonga!

I think it is much better on the leather strap.. very nice exotic dial and one of the nicest looking modern daytona variants. Make sure you get lots of wear from it.

OK, thought maybe it was a special edition of some sort.

I do intend to wear it rather than keep it locked away but I think it will just be a weekend watch as it 's a little bit blingy to wear at work!

I think the strap makes it. Lovely, lovely watch - agree it would be just too much with full gold bracelet.

Have just purchased my first and only y gold watch because it had a brown leather strap (four others all SS).

Oh no - what will you wear mid week? Won't you miss it?

Now that is beautiful, congratulations to you Sir. I was on the hunt for a Newman dialled Daytona for a while, but all the ones I came across were well worn dogs! Yours looks in tip top nick! Well done, a lovely example, stunning on the black strap.

Congratulations - I am not usually a fan of leather straps and prefer bracelets, but the leather strap on this watch seems to add an outstanding beauty to the piece.

Wear it and enjoy it and always remember that it is your opinion that counts and is whatever makes you happy.

Beautiful watch. I prefer the Daytona on leather. I may sell mine and buy one on leather.

    Hi Tim.

I am sure somebody on this forum or the Rolex forum has sourced end links so there SS daytona can be worn on a strap.

Custom End links from ebay so it can be done just need them in 18ct gold

    Regards Mark

    Thank you Tim.

I think you should definitely get one.

Some say yellow gold Daytona's are a little blingy but having seen some of your shoes I doubt you hold that view!
