Wink I will need a Rolex sub.

Received a standing invitation to go stay on a fair sized island deep in the amazon delta.
Not even dirt roads within a day (by boat), no electricity. Just river dolphins, manitees, caiman, giant otters, turtles and plenty of fish. Catch you own for diner.
I would lóve to go for half a year and think a Rolex sub would be a great tool to stun the fish...

Nah, all the fishes will think it's a fake. Better use your oil-filled Casio. Now that'll impress them.

The first thing you will need to do when you get there is set up a website.

I'd lend you a Rolex Sub - just make sure you take, or have someone else take some detailed pictures of it while you are there ;)
It's just a matter of time...

Why would I want to that with broadly smiling longhaired brasileñas about?

The last bloke who went for an extended holliday sent message back that he was staying. Current score is 6 kids and he has built a school´house´ for them and a few more from around.

Thanks for the offer. It might just happen. I will take an F91W though or the SDGA and ..... bury it when I get there :-)

I have júst been invited to take my son up to her house in a village in the Sierra Nevada. Her daughter is ever so enthusiastic about teaching him to ski.
The mail has umpteen fotos of the isle attached; it is ever so tempting if I can get the farm looked after.

I highly doubt the fish will be all that fussed about what watch you're wearing!
There's bigger and heavier ones to beat them around the gills with – Enzo Mechana and TW Steel both spring to mind.

My mind springs to a Zlatoust :-)

I would better graft a slingshot and spear´gun´ or so but mostly for fun as fishing with traps while resting in one´s hangmatt is far easier.

You'd be surprised, some fish are ever so picky these days ;)

I do so hate to spoil your daydreaming Heurtecilla, but before your plans get too far advanced and in the spirit of being cruel to be kind - would a farmer really choose to abandon his farm?

    Sorry.

    Peter.

I know lots of farmers that take extended holidays - that is what farm hands, and managers are for. There are quite a few people that specialise in farm management on a short contract basis - although it is all about getting in the right people to do the job, so that you don't worry while you are away.

Then I am happy to stand corrected.

Yeah, I suppose you're right – especially those piranhas, they'd bite your hand off for it.

    As straight forward as that.
Since our farm is pretty much an andalucian holliday destination, it should not be impossible to find someone.
First things first though; a visit to the Sierra Nevada.

Well, first a night out to the theatre tonight. It is a bit alternative circuit so no dress watch.
I may be a surprising evening as the play has three act about three different women living alone, coping in different ways with their solitude.
There will probably be at least twice as many women as men and those men on the arm of a better half.
I was supposed to go accompanied but she called off as she is stuck with family who dropped by.
Bit of a spot that puts me in as the tickets are available only at the theatre and she would pick them up. Fingers crossed that there will be any left.
    Now, what watch?

    p.s. Both solved.
A ladyfriend who lives near the theatre has picked up tickets for me and her.
Her birth year is 1967 so !!
