How about it folks. Is this stunning or what? I spotted it in the watch annual. Think I might get one as a safe queen.

There's one knocking around in here somewhere. From memory Burnsey and Chartman have owned it... could be anywhere by now.

You must be kidding as much as me saying this is stunning. Really?! This is the most disgusting watch in existence (obviously in my humble opinion)

It's not the nicest Azimuth, but hats off to them for taking an interesting direction instead of making another clone.

    Stunning, indeed.

Almost £3k for an ETA 2836. Oh, almost forgot. And fugly, too.

It is great - but expensive for a bit of fun. Buying used is a good option though.
It's just a matter of time...

I don't think even your photography skills could make this a thing of beauty...

I had one for a while, great fun. Great fun to photograph also.

Bit steep for a basic eta, but bloody hell that looks awesome. Definately stands out from the sea of sub-alikes..

It's a fun design in a world of very dull watches. Hats off to Azimuth for at least trying something a little different and bringing some humour to peoples wrists.

Would I buy one? Probably not as I suspect the novelty would wear off after a while.

    Cheers,
    Gary

Interesting and unique, yes. Possibly stunning in a very literal sense, but it isn't exactly beautiful.

    Quirky and interesting...but...
Hard to read the time off it.
    Expensive.
    Quite ugly.
    For those reasons...I'm out.

Reminds me of those glasses Chris Eubank used to wear.
Saw them in the documentary about him the other day. (Worth a watch if you missed it,The life of Chris Eubank I think its called)

'Stunning' is not the word I would use.

I think it's a great novelty watch, but I can't think of an occasion that I'd wear something that looks like this - perhaps when/if I have grand-children's birthdays to go to.

Well said. Why not have some fun? It's not as though the existence of this watch removes a Rolex or a Grand Seiko from the planet.

Like others have said... I'm glad they put in the time and effort to make something different and interesting but it is not for me.

At the risk of asking a really silly question....what happens to the minute hand when it reaches 60?...does it spring back to zero?

I really like them and would buy one if they were less than a bag of sand. I'd wear it with a suit, to important business meetings or when negotiating big contracts. Seriously, well not quite seriously, but you know what I mean, maybe.

I believe Chronomaster used to be an AD for Azimuth. I'd always liked the quirky fun Mr Roboto models but they are VERY big. The Bombadier was very popular Azimuth mainstream model at one time but like you I prefer something that isn't the norm (love the Corum Bubble special editions too).

After Mr Roboto I quite fancied a Heuers et Minutes Bi-Retrograde in orange / PVD but agree with other posters they expensive for what they are.

Don't you dare say such unkind things about my friend Mr. Roboto

I'm very offended of you ridiculing this fine piece of watchmaking!

it can bite my shiny metal ass ;D

actually I sorta like it... but it should be a whole lot cheaper to be a viable purchase! (I'm thinking drop the ETA & make it about £90)

Well perhaps against the general opinion of the forum but I really like this - as to the comments on it being an expensive ETA well I can't help but think that movement has had a lot of rework!!

Would I buy one? Its on my list of possibles but ideally I'd prefer pre-owned but you don't see many come up though as mentioned before one was floating around on TZ. So might go for new after my next planned purchase.
