    Dive Watch Suggestions?

I'm considering something around the £500 mark.

I'd thought of the Certina DS Action as I do like a fitted rubber strap with deployant.

Any thoughts on this watch greatly received and alternative suggestions too please.

    About 42mm size
Lug to lug length sub 50mm ideally

I loved my Fortis B42, but (if I'm reluctantly honset!) just a smidge too big on my 6.5" wrist.

    Cheers

Tbh I think 50mm lug to lug is too big for your wrist size.

Check bussipreziosi. Glycine are great divers for the 500 quid mark. You'll be saving 300 quid from UK retailers from an Italian AD.

You're probably right Steve, which is why I said 'sub' 50mm, but I suppose 48mm should be the max.

    Cheers

What about a Longines Hydroconquest? I am sure you'd be able to a great hardly used one for under £500. I tried one on recently at a AD and I was impressed

I would second the Precista PRs 3 less military, but very well made.

I bought a mint Aqua Lung 500m dive watch from this forum to be used as a daily/work watch .

It currently gets more wrist time than my GMT pepsi, love it so much I`m now looking for something else as a daily/work watch so I can keep this mint.

How about going for a vintage diver?? For example, you should, with some luck, be able to buy a certina ds ph version for that kind of cash.

For a desk diving watch under 500, stick to a good Seiko SKX and save up for the next one.
Or wait and try to catch a Breitling Abyss/Sinn U1/Seiko MM300.

If you could push the budget to £750 (ish) you could get a pre-owned one of these:

Just received mine after stupidly selling one a few years back. I had forgotten how awesome a watch it is!

    How about two for £500?
Seiko SKX007 or 009 and one of Eddies PRS-18's (either A or Q).

Another vote for the Smiths PRS-68 too - cracking watch!

Several choices at this price range, especially if you consider second hand. Tough choice. New I would probably go for the Sumo and save some cash. Used the list is very long, probably a Tag heuer 2000 exclusive or aquaracer.

If "SWISS" you don't insist..plenty of choices

Squale! Buckets of dive history and heritage and the 50 Atmos hits the right mark in terms of your size and price point requirements

Otherwise, I'd second the Glycine Sub suggestion above/below.

    Both excellent choices!
