    Incoming

I traded my Citizen 2100 chronograph for a black faced Seiko Spirit. I rarely wore the Citizen and I have always been interested in the Spirit. The bracelet will be too small so I found a guy in Italy selling one sans the buckle so I grabbed that. That should be here in a few days as well. He's sending me a Timefactor's strap with it too!

    Trader's pics.

Now let's hope the Post Office gets it here.

Congrats Tom! Iīve never handled one of those Spiritīs in the flesh, but those reviews are excellent! Seems to be a great value for the money.

Oh, yah... it DOES look nice too!

    Nice score!

I just wish Seiko would put sapphire on their divers, I'd love to own one of the new 6R15s...

Very nice score. I'd love to know how long the standard Seiko Spirit bracelet is as I have toyed with the idea of one for my 013 model.

It looks like you have the upgraded "B" model of the 6R15 movement. From what I have read it has 6 parts from the 6R20 series that are used to lower overall production costs across the two movements but which upgrade slightly the quality of the 15 movement.

Terrific value for money and a very nice watch :D

    Nice one Tom.

I see the date on your 6R15 seems to be perfectly square in the frame.

    Always an advantage. :)
    Cheers,
    Neil.

    Hi Tom,

Don't know if you've seen this or not but if you want an excellent strap/deployment for your new Spirit have a look.

A very good alternative to the bracelet IMHO and it transforms the look of the watch. If you need more info speak to Harold (yobokies).

    Cheers,

    Gary

Seiko 6R15 Movement look like to be good workhorse, thta sad that Seiko do not sell his automatic movement outside the Seiko (Hattori) group
