I like that. Is it an available model, or a mod?

Not sure if it was available as a complete watch. It's a custom case/dial/hands made by Roland Kemmner for a Hamilton pocket watch movement. Got the movement off eBay and the rest from Roland.

If ever again I'm accused of the inappropriate use of a Nato strap and crimes against taste(which I am. Regularly), I can now point to your esteemed self as my get out of gaol free card. Thank you kind sir and may you spend all your weekends in sunshine *tips hat* :-D

Thanks, width 35.3mm WO crown, but wears slightly bigger thanks to the integrated lug design with 41.5mm lug to lug size.

Many thanks! They are extremely reasonable money IMO. I got this one from the Midlands Watch and Clock Fair.

Thanks Simon, I finally got round to having it serviced a few weeks ago by a friend and colleague. It needed quite a few replacement parts as water had got in through the crown tube at some point. It was definitely a labour of love on my mates behalf and amazingly he got it back to running within COSC spec and the amps have gone from a lowly 220 at best to around 300!

Although visually it looks pretty much identical to its pre-service state I'm over the moon about it's transformation and performance. Just love the fast beat tick of these El Primero movements.

    Cheers,
    Gary
