I found a flight for us all next year, and there is an option to upgrade the party to a situation where you get free extra baggage for all, and can book all your seats etc., for a cost.
The price I found on the website showed the upgrade for the outbound flight coming up as the same price as the flight only.
So payment card in hand, I clicked continue, and it was coming up at the (probably correct) higher price of the upgrade.
Every time I clicked back and clicked 'refresh,' it was coming down to the lower price, and showing lower on the right hand side final total.
Another click on 'continue' put the price back higher.
Obviously a website fault.
Anyway, with it being it Yorkshire Day, I decided that haggling with a huge airline was the order of the day.
I rang and explained, the girl got on the internet and tried it... and said she couldn't see it. I told her to click 'refresh' a couple of times... and lo and behold... it was showing up as my cheaper option!
She said that it was a website fault... and I agreed... as I uttered the words "and I hope you're going to honour that false advertising" in the same sentence!
She put me on hold for 5 mins, came back, took all my details and gave me it at the £100 cheaper price!
