My current car (until the new one arrives).

A couple of weeks ago my Father let me know he was changing his 13 plate Skoda Superb Elegance 2.0 TDI CR 170PS DSG DPF for a Skoda Yeti Elegance. He offered to let me buy his it from him and he'd trade in my 62 plate Superb SE Plus 1.6 TDI CR 105PS DPF. Since his Superb was 6 months newer, had 14000 fewer miles on the clock, a lot better equipped and more powerful (61% increase!) I said yes. He let me have it for what the garage would have given him. I picked it up last weekend and am very pleased with it.

Perfect one car solution (the one on the left) is now sold to make way for a two car solution. Freelander for the family and the one on the right for me...

Sadly coming to the end of the line for the Defender - another few months only. I believe February next year is when they will be taking the last orders for Defenders.

I think I might have joined when doing some research on 3.2's but I can't find the name under which I registered. I just may have to rejoin. It was a handy source of information though and may have saved me from one or two perils.

You on there? Got a 3.2?

Seems to be a lot of Disco 3 owners on here. I will only sell mine to buy a 4 or RR

2012 C250CDI, nice bit of kit till I'm a bit older and can get a proper fast car.... If the euro regulations don't end all the fun that is left to be had in a car!

Lovely car, lovely house & ground - you must have worked hard for that - well done, well deserved!

Lovely looking car; assuming its a 991 the colour may actually be Agate, or did you opt for PTS?

  29. #1779
911 Carrera 4S. Agate grey, same as yours. Agate and pebble grey bi-colour interior.

Bleeding 911s Here's a recent one of mine from Goodwood:

  35. #1785
The bum on the turbo is without doubt one of the classic car shapes, ( in particular the later 930s) It's makes all the other models look odd in my opinion I just could not live with anything short of the wide body, They just don't look right!
But then again there is not much to compete with any 911 as a useable super car.

There are some great cars on here. This is my daily driver, a Subaru Legacy 3.0R Spec B (or I use the wife's 520d when I want to do more than 18mpg!) -

    This is my fun car (on my wedding day);

And this is for when the sun comes out (although not in this photo!):

I just begrudge paying the car tax on them all!

No photos, sorry, but I drive a 'sensible' Mercedes 250 diesel estate, a 'fun' Smart Brabus and also own a Alfa Romeo GTV-type convertible which is struggling to pass its MOT :-(

It's very loud, 2 straight through exhausts on it. Funny thing is though I never get complaints, just thumbs up and waves from other drivers!

I have something similar with the stainless exhaust on my BMW 635CSI - just other people waving etc and listening as I burble by.

And your user name now makes perfect sense!

I've gone all old-man. Not only do I drive a Volvo, but it's an automatic one, at that.

Lovely barge. Effortlessly capable of reaching licence-threatening speed, too.

Only problem with it is that now I want an S 60 R.

Many years [decades to be honest :-( ] my brother owned a beach buggy. When we took the engine to bits to get the sand out (!) we found on the flange of the 'bomb' exhaust words to the effect of:
Guaranteed not to comply with any federal or state (noise) statutes
