Is this Timex a Fricker case?

    Just curious...

I read on the Fricker web site. that Fricker does work for Timex.

Looking for a affordable watch for my soon to be Brother in law who's in the Air Force (Air traffic controller)

    Hi,

They are not listed on the Factory Sales page on the Fricker site. Judging by their product line and place in the market, I would be very surprised if Timex had watches made anywhere other than China.

Timex, Pforzheim are however listed in the References Page of the Fricker website. Timefactors is not. I only got to know about Fricker through this website and the watches produced there by Eddie.

Timex are owned by a Norwegian company registered in Lichtenstein and the watches are made in the Philippines. According to NorWatch, a site that keeps an ethical eye on the activities of Norwegian companies, there have been some grotesque violations of workers' rights in the factories. This article is from 1999, so hopefully things may have changed, but I doubt it. Scroll down for the 'Timex in the Philippines' part.
