I'm glad I warmed to mine now, the used prices for these seem surprisingly low considering the enthusiasm for the initial sale.

I'll admit I got caught up in that enthusiasm, but thought I'd take a punt and sell it on if prices picked up and I didn't like it and, at first, I wasn't blown away, but as prices haven't hardened, I decided to try wearing it and stop worrying about hurting a future sale value and as a dive watch it's really excellent - Mine's off diving with me again next week!

I guess he might get his asking price or near, as they're not available new currently and not everyone has access to SC.

It's much more of a bargain than the PRS-82 that sold recently: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Precista-R...p2047675.l2557

I'd have bitten your hand off for it.

Now to weigh up how much I can offer before SWMBO beats me for buying myself presents prior to Christmas.

Not quite a genuine limited edition of only 200 though is it - as the Ebay listing states. I do like mine a lot though.
It's just a matter of time...

That's how Eddie describes it - http://www.timefactors.com/dreadnought.htm - and it is one of the first 200 numbered watches (147/200).

I'd be more worried at how the seller misspells Dreadnought...

Also, looking at close up pictures of the dial, is it my poor eyesight or are there marks on dial / crystal or is that dust in camera lens?

These words are always used after the event, the reality is you would not have bought it tbh.

But because it HAS sold, you can say you would have!,but we would really never know the truth........would we ;-).

Fairly adamant would have paid that for it. Particularly seeing recent sales on other forums have been north of £700. But as you say hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Eddie describes the original as 1 of 200, but I can't the same claim on the voyager, which is 200 plus a further order.

You're correct, of course. Apologies - I had read the page in haste and hadn't realised that it covered both of the watches.
