If I came from somewhere in Scandinavia (sorry can't remember the chaps name), with a box and papers, then it's likely to have once been mine.

This building at the rear is a gift of Stalin for Warsaw. To this day, has the power of attraction ... ;)

I like the different hour markers at 3,6 and 9, they really stand out compared to mine.

Thanks - it's the quirkiness & rarity that appealed. From the info I can find (on another forum)...

The GT 55 caliber is a strange animal when compared to modern automatics. It beats at a leisurely 19800 bph, has 27 jewels, small seconds hand and no date. The movement winds but does not hack. I believe it is descended from M.S.R. Holdings T54 line of calibers (1968, I believe) when they owned Revue Thommen (and Vulcain among a few other watch firms).
The Sport 50's is part of Revue Thommen's "manufacture" line and uses the in-house movement mentioned above (caliber GT55).
    It's a
small, nicely proportioned case (35 mm exc. crown) and hesalite crystal.

Very cool indeed - there's something to the design that renders it 1960s and yet completely contemporary at the same time.

Cheers - I think your markers are more consistently visible, if that makes sense, whereas mine can be a little hard to see if they don't catch the light:

Switched for the evening to my aquaspeed which I modded this week to a brushed finish. Not a fan of "too shiny" and having some scotchbrite in my hand at work gave me an idea...

Might actually wear it more often now!
