    Incoming Rolex 14060

Having owned a later model 14060M and trading it in for a Sea-dweller a couple of years back, I've sort of missed it. Rather than go for a direct replacement of that model, I decided to go for a slightly older, more simplistic model.

After a wtb on this forum and scouring the Web, I settled on this fine example from Mike Wood. Its from around 1994 and is a w serial. Apparently used to belong to a serving member of the royal engineers.

One of the classic 3 handers and that clean dial makes sure that it wears bigger than its actual size.

Very happy with this one and a definite keeper.

So, let's be clear you bought a Sub ND OR a Sub?

Thanks. To clarify, the model is officially the Submariner and the ND distinction is actually unofficial.

You can't beat a two-liner. I allowed .olli to give me some money in exchange for mine, but I think I'll try to mug him for it at the next TZ-UK Hampshire Chapter curry night. I miss it.

Good pick and I am sure it will be a keeper.

Had my U Series for a few years now and it was another one of Mike's.

Been wearing it the last few days off the bracelet and back on a NATO.

    Enjoy

    Paul

The strap is a horween leather that is actually the same one that NOMOS use. I bought it from a German eBay seller last year for use with the aqua terra that has departed to make way for this watch.
