One for the Rolex Vintage Mob

Thought I would put up a pic of 3 lovely vintage Rolex, 1966 gilt 5513, 1974 6263 Daytona, 1966 gilt GMT, without doubt as nice a trio you could wish to find. I am quite pleased with these and hope it encourages you to post pics of your beauties!

No popcorn is required, it's only my opinion and should be treated as such.

Very nice indeed and I think their is a common agreement that the Daytona is a belter... Hope they're regularly plucked from your Yale safe!!!

    The Daytona is perfection.

  33. #33
    Beautiful trio, Bob

Though, many favour the Daytona, personally I love the Sub and have always wanted a Pepsi 1675.

  34. #34
Wow 3 great examples you have there !!!
Much love from the respondeants for the Daytona & i understand why ( although i admit a preference for the black dialled version )
But my own personal nod of approval goes out to your GMT. Amazing condition & warm patina about it. I wish my own favourite brand, Heuer, did a four handed diver back in those days ;-)
Wear these 3 in a loving rotation so the other 2 dont get jealous.

Its funny how people often moan at Rolex for lack of progress but when you hit things that are so close to perfection theres not much scope for progress is there?

That's a really nice set. Almost too nice to wear really, but that GMT would get the most wrist time if they were mine. Enjoy.

The Pepsi and non-date subs 😍 stunners!

Would love a vintage one but they are so hard to find and so expensive

I think of the 3 of them, the GMT appeals to me the most. I have had many Rolex in both modern and vintage form and never a GMT. Perhaps I should stat looking for a 16750 in earnest.

Lovely set and I hope they get worn regularly!

Absolutely stunning, and IMO much nicer than the modern versions, though those themselves certainly aren't shabby.
