    Leather Nato Straps

Any recommendations for a good quality leather Nato? Preferably around 1.5mm thick.

    Thank you.

Thanks for that! Think they are just what I'm looking for. I like the fact you can order them slightly shorter and change stitching colour. My search may well have been easier than expected. :-)

I have a couple, a light brown one that disappointed initially but after scuffing it up and rubbing in oil and shoe polish (!) I love it! I recently bought one of the grey "dust" straps and it's my favourite, a steal at the price imo.

I picked up a lovely leather nato from ukwatchstrap.co.uk. £11.40 delivered and looking great on my Vixa Type 1.

That's the one I'm looking at. Is it closer to black in "the flesh"?

This one was a tenner from eBay and looks like the £12 monkeyswag one above. I love it so bought another in 20mm for my seamasters.

I think I will try the yellow dog distressed one as it looks better quality still...

Got this from eBay about three years ago. Thought I'd scuff it up with some sandpaper. I quite like it...

I'd say the photo is representative in the sunshine. It's never black, but a dark grey that's just the perfect shade to me. Looks vintage and the most supple leather.
