It is indeed. The "base" 99.0 has a smaller sub seconds dial.

I'd have an AP Royal Oak 15202 or Rolex GMT BLRO in a flash.
Not actively lusting after anything at the minute though.

I've been lusting after a 36/39mm Explorer 1 for an everyday wearer at work - something that wouldn't get too much attention unlike my SD. However, have always been a fan of the Omega AT and having read the recent thread am now wavering as to which one to aim for.

(This photo shows the 'Ocean One' text which is hidden by the hands on some of the other photos.)

Just to add to the potential confusion, there's also an 'Ocean One Vintage' (think of some new names, Steinhart).

This is what I'm after at moment too.... I really ummed and aaahhd over whether to try get a pre owned gen 1 with black dial rather than the faded military gen 2 with correct depth number ...
I saw posts on WUS though and posters had tried to get early dial but steinhart said none were left ....

I'm still torn between the red text ocean 1 date and the ovm actually ... I think the ocean 1 date is too similar to my ultimate lust seadweller though which I will get and is attainable......whereas a Rolex milsub is so expensive now and rare I won't ever be getting one...
Btw I love the vintage ... If only it didn't have vintage on the dial...

Nothing really. I'd have my old BLNR back and I've got a couple of projects on the go, (one of which should be finished in the near future hopefully). Other than that, I'm frightfully happy with what I've got.

Seamaster Chrono Diver with black face, previous iteration to current model, the 213.30.42. Giving myself plenty of time to buy it for my 40th next year.

Either that or a SD4000. It will probably take a year to find one!

    A Rolex Explorer 2
    or
    A Tudor Aeronaut GMT.

with a slight preference for the Tudor at present.

I'd also love a world time of some description but nothing grabs me aesthetically at present.

forever out of reach lust is reserved for
    a PP nautilus moonphase.
    and
    A JLC reverso.

The current iteration is some 40% off in that George Banks sale, if it doesnt have to be the last generation... Hard to go wrong at that price...

PAM190. It's the only Panerai that I've ever really wanted - hopefully one day I'll manage to bag one!

PP 5990 (in my dreams). Some lucky person was wearing one on the tube on my way to work this morning - a very beautiful thing. Naturally he tucked it under his sleeve when he saw me ogling it.

I am holding out for a plain Jane Grand Seiko SBGX063.

I have the mechanical thing out of my system and now want a nice reliable Lexus to see me into retirement.

And a picture harvested form the ethernet

Panerai '1940s' case titanium radiomir 619. Yummy.

Also liking the IWC portofino 8 days.

    And maybe a SDc.

Either of these could be within striking distance. But would need to re-jig the 'collection'.

And tbh - I'd still end up with watches in mostly not wearing.

But it's nice to dream. :)

One of these please....I know not why.

it would not be the cheapest or the most expensive addition to the collection....

Three I'm currently lusting over, each in different price brackets, are:

    Rolex Subc No Date
    Breitling Aerospace Evo
    Hamilton Pan-Europ Blue (3-hander)

The problem is deciding which to sell to pay for them!

Yes - it may have sold, but it was on the website until the other day.

    Give them a call...

After this evening's trip to WoS Regent street - it might well be the ALS datagraph flyback thingy. Or if decide £67,000 is too much I'd maybe go for the Lange 1 I tried at a mere £24,000. Lol. What fun it is to dream.

At much less offensive levels of £ I did like the new Rolex oyster perpetual models. Would have to be the grey dial with blue plots I reckon.

My tastes these days are rather simple: seiko 6309-7040/9 (or it's rarer 6306-7000/1 cousin).

Pelagos is the best watch I've ever purchased. I use it quite regularly and the expandable bracelet-strap is just fun to play with hah.

Despite the fact that I'm supposed to be on a bit of a collecting hiatus while I get some of the more complicated watches in my collection serviced, the ones that might tempt from the path of righteousness are:

    Nomos Tangenete Datum
Speedsonic with printed rather than applied indeces
Steel cased rectangular watch with more than a hint of art deco in the dial design

    Cheers

    Ian

Rolex SD. I think it' could be the 'one' watch, however there is only a 1 in 14 million chance of me ever getting one :-)
