Yeah watching it with my son but find it a bit dull, not sure why. First time we have watched the series.
On itv4 now.
Anyone watching?

The lack of noise is strange but it's technically very interesting.
I am not sure if its the lack of noise, or that the cars are identical in performance - dont know if that's the case but it appears that way. i cannot put my finger on why its a little boring.
It's going to take some getting used to but it's the first season and can only get better.
I think it's probably the future of single seater racing though.
I am - very enjoyable - apart from the wasp like noise being generated.
If you get a chance watch the last 5 laps everything changes!
That last couple of laps were pretty exciting.
Lots of money being put in to this - brand new Formula e centre @Donnington Circuit.
Will have a very distinct identity and good following IMO.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Have to agree Chris , some very big names behind the Formula . I can see it being very successful , all races in major cities across the world with everything happening on the Saturday . As much as I like Fi , I can see this becoming the future .
Hoping to travel up to watch the London final round .
I've just watched the Buenos Aires round. I was rather ambivalent about it, having regarded Formula e as a form of "hearts and minds" offensive by the FIA - a sort of PR exercise to persuade the great unwashed that motor racing isn't all about profligacy and using up the world's supply of fossil fuels.
Let's not even consider the cost to the planet of sourcing the raw materials to manufacture batteries.
Anyway. The racing. Well, apart from the loss of the usual soundtrack, the actual racing wasn't bad, if you ignore the nonsensical "Fan Boost" rubbish. As always with a one-make formula, overtaking is a problem ("Fan Boost" isn't the answer), but there was enough going on to interest the casual observer, and the fact that the races are being brought to the people has to be a good thing, even if it means the races taking place on some pretty awful street circuits.
On balance, it's a series which deserves to grow, and succeed. In time, we may even become accustomed to quiet racing cars.
The 2015 London ePrix will encompass two separate races – Rounds 10 and 11 – on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June and will be held within the grounds of Battersea Park (link).
Only if there is a breakthrough in battery technology or a different manner to store energy gets developed.
Concerning the racing the issue is weight.
In motorbikes the e racing has been going on for a decade and it really is all 'blocked' by the energy storage.
The same applies to the environmental argument: That is dead in the water unless a storage revolution occurs.
