Isofranes are superb, but it would have to be an orange RubberB for me instead to plug the endlink gaps.
Great pictures
Took delivery of an Explorer II and an Isofrane this week. Just wanted to leave the pics for anyone wondering if they match
Is it too much?

Great pictures
Great photos.
The strap combo is too much for me, but then again im strictly monochrome.
Top combination, an absolutely superb look. I prefer the isofrane to the rubber b as the style is so individual and iconic. Great watch.

Love the splashy picture. Great watch, not sure about the rubber, but then I'm not the one wearing it.
Works for me as a great summer combo. Would be a bit much in the dark winter months though. I thought about doing the same with my black dial one for summer, but ended up doing it on a Fortis B42 Cosmo instead.
I've recently bought the same orange Isofrane strap for my Explorer II but haven't had time to put it on the watch yet. Will get onto it when I'm next home!
Sums up what I love about watches, dress them up, dress them down. If you like it, wear it, if someone else likes it..... Bonus.
For what it's worth, I love that combination. Oh, and bravo for such fine photos.
Might be comfortable and does bring a little colour to the relatively monochrome watch world, but it unfortunately makes it look cheap too.
Sorry not for me
Looks good to me - perhaps the only Rolex (plus maybe the yachtmaster) that would take this combo!
Like it a lot. For me though it would be a summer watch thing to be worn in rotation with other pieces.
Isofrane straps are great straps imho.
I used to have a ploprof 1200 that I loved to wear on a black isofrane. Fantastic combo in my world.
Looks great! I've been toying with the idea of picking up an Isofrane form my Black Bay.
I'm alone in thinking it looks cheap and tacky, sorry.
Great pics though.
Looks good!
Still trying to get an orange Isofrane on my black-dialled Doxa - failing miserably to get the screws out of the lugs though on one side. Shame as it'll get worn much more!!
Suits everything the watch stands for. Functional, solid, and looking good while doing it.
OK
Without wishing to be insulting, the strap makes the watch look like something you bought from the local petrol station.
There is nothing wrong with colourful straps but that one looks like it was made on a Chinese production line.
Perhaps you could invest in a better strap.
Regards
Mick
I like it, a lot of people don't like bright straps or to deviate from bracelet or dark leather on quality watches it seems, but each to their own really.
I wear my sub on red suede and really love it.
I really like that. The white face and orange just seem to balance each other out, a lovely clean look.
That's a no go. The strap is to fat for the lugs. It's not a diver watch either. Nothing wrong with a rubber strap, just thinner and maybe black
I like the colours, and do have a thing for the polar Explorer, but jazzman is right. The strap's just too thick for the watch, and makes it look a bit unbalanced.
While famyklebust does perhaps have a point, I think you're over analysing it. :)
Jesus wept, NOOOOOOOO!!!
As others have said , I prefer the Rubber B I think. Hoping this will be my next watch.
Doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. I normally think Rolex bracelets are far too narrow and weedy looking, but that strap just looks too big!
It's a bit like a Porsche GT3 RS (with the red wheels). Kinda garish and tacky, but somehow kinda works.
Not to my liking, but I like the Expoler 2 so much, I bought one today. Great photo's too.
Nice pics, great watch and superb kombo :) makes me miss my Expy :(
I think the colour works really well for summer but, as has been said, the rubber B option would be better to get rid of the gap at the lugs.
Not really doing much to quell my desire to buy a white dialled Explorer II... Great photos 👍🏻
Its weird this watch lark, i used to hate lug gaps and always looked for curved end straps etc, now i prefer the straight end look and the isofrane looks perfect on so many watches
Come to think of it i have been through so many 'phases' it is no wonder i will never settle on any single watch
Sorry, but I don't like the strap! It looks cheap!
Really like it tbh, very good combo and something a bit different.
Is a great combination!👍👍
