50th Anniversary Bond - how much?

    Hi all,
I spotted this for £3260 in a AD

What could I reasonably expect to discount this by? 10% - 15% or more?

    Easily

    It's not actually that limited

I'm assuming that the Bond link is important to you but if not Iconic have the standard SMPc for over 1/3 less.

They'll try to refuse a discount based on the fact it's "limited" though

Just point out that its got "007" plastered repeatedly all over the dial, so everybody will make fun of you if you wear it - that should knock a couple of grand off...;)

A valid point. Unfortunately my son-in-law thinks it's great. I tried to point him to a 2220.80 which I have read was the one that Daniel Craig wore in Casino Royale but he likes this one. I prefer the wavy, none OO7, version personally.

I was just looking for serious suggestions of starting haggling prices.

This is brand new but produced in 2012. Begging the question is this not a very popular model or not all that limited an edition?

See how long it stays in the window.

It's a mid size and with that diamond for the 7 o'clock marker I've always had doubts over whether it was aimed at the ladies.

Buy it if you like it, though it's an odd ball and there's plenty of them about.

Edit: discounts of 15% are quite common for ADs, they may go higher on this depending upon how long they've had it in stock.

Agree with the ladies comment, as the full size didn't have the diamond.

That's not a bad if it has any shop warranty with it
