New PRS-20 Limited Edition Interest Poll

    Hi,

I'm interested by the PRS-20 Limited Edition.

    Of course, it's sold out.

But what about a new batch?

So, here is the poll :-)

    All the best,

    GregVDS

I think you'll find that LE means limited - period, as in 'once their gone, their gone'.

None of that Omega limited nonsense here...

I could always do the "Antiquorum Homage" version at around £2000.

Of course, right now the real "limited edition" is the non-LE. Those LEs, in comparison, are common as muck.

You are of course correct. The movements promised for the end of September were then promised for the end of October. They're now promised for next week.

If Fricker were in charge of Christmas, it would be in August/September/October.

You need to set up an auction at a posh London hotel run by Sothebys. The put the Antiquorum Homage LE up for grabs and buy it yourself for £351,000.

The screws could be deep purple instead of blue.

    Best wishes,

Maybe, but it sure as hell wouldn't be every year, maybe once every 18-20 months. Ish.

Perhaps he had in mind the notion of an edition with a limit. The number of units produced approaches, but never really reaches the limit.

    Best wishes,
    Bob

How about 'NO' because I can't understand the appeal of the PRS-20 at all.

I'll get my coat .....

In the end every edition is limited: limited by the number of watches the factory is expecting to sell..

I seem to remember something about a 10.007 pieces ltd.......

Not the way to go, I 'd say.

    Thanks for your answers.

For some that think I did not catch the concept of limited edition, I did, thanks :-)

But as a lot of big brands, and the italian one to begin with, are doing repeated limited editions, I imagined this could be the case here too. Just think about the OP Black Seal. The limitation is more on the number of watches available per year, more than a once and for all limited edition.

Now, we could have imagined to make different limited edition series, with details differing, like the colours of hands, presence of seconds hand, whatever, no?

    All the best,

    GregVDS

I for one would be interested in an "Italian" version with Sub seconds. That would be sufficiently different to have its own model number.

    I second that.

    Thanks Faide,

I'm glad it doesn't have sub-seconds. That would have been a deal-breaker for me on this watch.
