Tried to find Stroopwaffels today at my local Lidl. None and they denied all knowledge. Mail order only?

I don't have a 'stop' switch with Maltesers, really. The size of the container on offer is the amount I'll eat. And then I'll feel a bit ill if it's a big container.

Basically everyone's addicted to food that's bad for you, can't see anyone addicted to lettuce or can't put a sprout down!

Just about anything that's bad for me! Salt and vinegar kettle chips and revels spring to mind and I have to finish the bag no matter how big.

  11. #61
A lot of the bad stuff above but for some balance, if we open a jar of beetroot it goes pretty quick, as do grapes.

Pringles, Ben and Jerrys (Well any ice cream, the lid off means the tub will be empty), cashew and pistachio nuts.
Krispy Kreme annoy me with a dozen if I'm on a mission 9 is achievable but the other 3 won't keep until the following day, I only buy them now on new years eve, it's become a ritual.
Apples, if I start to eat a nice apple I can then eat 7 or 8 in a day happily, something juicy and with a good flavour, but it gets expensive so I stick to citrus fruit most of the time, it also helps the kids only like granny smith's and the wife only likes golden delicious neither of which I like.

Actually if we are talking healthier addictions I can polish off a family sized jar of saurkraut with sausages and a beer or two and will want more and more saurkraut. I absolutely love the stuff. After effects mean its best I work from home the next day though.

A few months ago I marinated some biltong in gin, left it for a couple off weeks and...... the taste was bland and quite disappointing. :-(

Not at the same time I hope?

If I am left alone with a half dozen poppy seed rolls, a packet of Corned Beef and a tub of Lurpak, I WILL eat until
    I am sick.

    I can't be left with a full pack of any of the below;

    Smoked & Salted Almonds
    Roasted & Salted Pistachios
    Curly Cachauette crisps

Also, bombay mix! rarely have it, but when I do it
    seems to disappear awfully fast.

This evening we had Flammekueche, I could shamelessly
eat a whole one of those as well :/

  28. #78
    Chilli Heatwave Doritos; tasty!

Double chocolate digestives and especially M&S selection biscuits.

Crisps I have to control by putting some in a bowl otherwise I lack any portion control.

Favourite has to be M&S chocolate cornflake bites. With a nice coffee.

Marmite on toast. It used to be a scraping, but it's powerful stuff that Marmite and the more you have it the more you put on. Mind I could walk away at any time and have marmalade instead, honest. To a lot of people Marmite is .......... marmite, but to me it's Marmite.

Pistacios, pickled onions, village sized box of maltezers would be no problem! Put 20 Cadbury flakes in front of me and they will go.

Oh god this thread has reminded me of the "party" bag of peanut butter M&Ms still stashed at the back of my wife's wardrobe. It used to be the safe zone for treats brought back from business trips to the States but I soon cottoned on.

    The assault begins at sundown.

Malt Loaf, I rarely buy it now as I can easily eat a loaf in one go. Even without butter it soon puts my weight up.

    Orange Clubs.

    Breakaways.

real Slovak 'chrumky' = Peanut puffs (not flavoured, but with at least 30% ground salted peanuts), there is no way I can stop before the pack is empty. Salted almonds and cashews...most savoury snacks

Not often, but Haribo gold bears are a bit moreish

I got something called Caramel Waffles. Viciously sweet and sticky but not unpleasant. One at a time only with those. 200cals each. You can feel your teeth dissolve.

    Basically, any form of biscuit.

It gets worse in work as I work with a load of blokes and I think the "pack" mentality kicks in.
