    What are your honest thoughts...

On this odd looking timepiece. -

Swiss made ETA 2824 automatic movement.
Stainless Steel case treated with a black PVD coating.
    46mm across (Excluding the crowns.)
    56mm lug to lug
    16.5mm thick
    22mm Lugs
External AND Internal bezel operated by the top crown
    Domed Sapphire glass
    Water resistant upto 1000M
    Helium Escape valve

Retail is 900 Euros but i just picked up a mint one on E-bay for £200.00. (No box)

I've never owned a Sector before.. (Thought they were pants.) But I will give you a mini review when the ugly beast arrives! :)

Then it will probably end up on SC! lol :)

The dial and bezel look ok, but the lugs and strap make it a no go for me.

The image makes the hands look really tiny little stubs. Maybe different in the flesh.

Not for me ... there's just way too much happening on that dial.

Horrible. Looks like it came from Argos. What were you thinking? The dial looks tiny compared to the overall case / bezel size.

Still, I do admire folk like you who actually take a chance on different / new watches, and without the likes of you I would never have seen many of the watches I discover on here.

Would be interested to see some real-life photos.

It's hideous. I can't believe people wear stuff like this.

Is that a little blue stick man diving down the (teeny) dial? Hmm - it's different, but not really in a good way.

As long as the lume is good, it would probably make a decent watch for actually diving with?

I take the advice that Thumper's father gave him:

It'll be a freediver. Sector has been involved with apnea for years (well, since the 80s). Pipin and Umberto Pelizzari being the two most notable ambassadors. Some of the older, original Sector No Limit watches were quite cool...

You would end up flipping it at a massive loss IMO.

46mm across and 56mm lug to lug? WTF? If you want to wear half a brick on your wrist it's perfect

    Tiny hands - massive watch.

    No thanks at any price.

Exactly what I was going to say.

Still, the dimensions sound perfect for Rajen, you could try and sell it to him in a couple of weeks.

I think the dial could do without the double chapter ring. It's a funny one because the hands look tiny with so much going on around them, but at 46mm diameter overall they're probably a pretty "normal" size.

Its hideous....looks like something you would pick up on a market stall for £9.99

Some harsh comments so far :)

I think it looks an interesting watch with decent spec and i look forward to seeing real pics when it arrives (and i will reserve judgement until then)

Seen much worse on the Friday thread (and thats just mine) ;)

I think it would look better in a NATO. Sectors always get a caning on the forum , the rrp does look a bit optimistic ( but then so does 80℅ of the watch industry and most of them seem to survive ) but people who have actually owned one usually seem to say they are very well built.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

Thanks for all the reply's, loving them all! :)

I'm just very curious of it.. And at £200.00, worth a gamble..

Worst case senario - I hate it, no-one with an ounce of taste want's to buy it.. So, i end up investing a couple of hundred pounds in something that nobody wants..

THEN...... It goes back on Ebay and i get my money back! ;D

Against the flow - I rather like it! The oval case makes it stand out. Far too big for my titchy wrist but if it weren't I'd certainly give it wrist time...

Looks awful and cheap. The dial is too small and the hands look way too small and it way too busy for me.

I wouldn't have bought it for £10 let alone £200.

The Sector of old did indeed offer some very well made Swiss Made pieces.

But I don't know what happened to the brand and who or what owns it now.

This I wouldn't buy myself, but for 200,- and you liking it it's low risk and kind of fun I guess.

I like it except for the smiley Minion on the second hand...

For £200 for an automatic with 1000M WR, it seems a bit different and decent value.

I expect if it said Steinhart on it, the general feeling would be more positive...

Absolutely everything I dislike in a watch.

I really don`t like black watches in any shape or form, so that's enough to rule it out for me. The dial's a mess too. Looks cheap and tacky, only saving grace is the decent movement.

Frankly, I wouldn`t even dig the garden in this.

It's extremely busy to the point of giving me a migraine aura. And for some reason it reminds me of Romain Jerome watches.

Looks better on wrist I think, my look criticism is that it seems very busy. 200 quid new though, that's a bargain. Keep it for a bit and flip perhaps.
