Seems the BP is spilling over to the regular forum !!
I'm having issues editing posts as well, sounds like a similar symptoms; edit post, submit and then watch the entire post disappear. The other odd thing is that I still have the green marker by the thread to highlight I've contributed to it even though my post isn't there.
I'm usually editing to correct either poor grammar or spelling, I guess that I'll have to be sharper on both in the future 😀
