    As I said earlier Mr.P., there must have been a conscious decision made at the (lengthy?) design stage to have only minute markers with no "5" gradations.But WHY? :?

    As it happens I am 'not' very fond of seconds graduations. I feel they are ok with vintage and vintage-type chronos but a modern tool watch looks much better without them.

    Sec divisions completely change the look of a dial ... but there is room for everybody.

    If you can get predict with absolute confidence the arrival of a photon at some specific point ... I suppose you could. Otherwise you are going to need something bigger, or smaller :rabbit: .
