    Scooters and their owners

After nearly being knocked over by these bloody things I thought I'd start a thread on here.

I'm not talking about mopeds but rather the push along scooters that parents allow their sprogs to hate around on with no control whatsoever.

This is bad enough but in London, adults have taken to riding these oversized children's scooters both on the pavement and the public highway! They are often operated by owners with no helmet, no consideration and always with headphones. Seriously ridiculous and downright dangerous. Ah!

yep, my 2 year old daughter has got the hang of pushing herself along on her scooter but steering and braking have yet to be mastered, so watch out!

These scooters can save you serious minutes when getting to a from you favourite train station, thus maximising your time in bed/with your family. I can understand the appeal.

+1.......leave scooters for the kids, grown-ups look like knobs riding them.

Doesn't happen where I live, I suspect it's yet another London fad.
