For some reason not having asked permission really irritates me. You see a lot of it in SC. "Here's a link to the previous thread, I hope so-and-so won't mind."

I disagree. It's not illegal like using someone's pics without permission. Being legal doesn't make it right. I just think it's poor form and plain laziness if you can't be arsed to go through the trouble of composing your own sales post or even politely asking permission from someone who could be arsed. A well composed sales post with all the pics can easily take a few hours to compose. I think it's just disrespectful to use the whole minute on your sales post like this:

For sale is my XXXX Watch. I'm asking £YYYY
I got this from member ZZZZ in Oct. Here's a link to his sales post with all the information and better pics than I could manage. Hope he doesn't mind.

That's where the poor form and disrespectful behaviour mentioned in my previous post come in.
