    Best Star Wars scene?

After watching all 6 with our youngest there's loads of great moments but which one is your favourite?

The best SW moment is still this:

    What's your best?

Yep, that's my favourite. And Vader walking in with the stormtroopers just after. Actually met him, flanked by stormtroopers in Hamleys just after Empire was released. He spelt my name wrong on his autographed photo, and I was to scared to correct him.

So many great scenes, but the Imperial walkers first being spotted also gives me goosebumps to this day.

I've always loved the moment vader does a double take when the falcon escapes using the supposedly disabled hyperdrive. Tried to find a clip but failed

The Boonta Pod Race in Phantom Menace I think. I was in Currys when the film first came out and watched the race on a massive plasma screen they were demonstrating at the time.
It was so far ahead of everything else at that point I was gobsmacked watching it. Wife moaned about having to stand around so told her to go and look at hairdryers. Didn't mean her to buy the most bloody expensive one.

There was a program on this very subject on Sky recently counting down the top 20 scenes across all the films from fans that voted. Really good show - predictably the "Luke, I am your father" scene was number one.

Personally I think any scene with Chewbacca in is good enough for me

I like the one where they shoot the Jar Jar Binks in the head.
    Oh it didn't happen?
I guess it was just a dream.
A very good and satisfying dream.

Agreed, I've watched some duff films and I have to say that I thought the originals were great - when I was a teenager - but this did nothing for me

There really are so many, but one that was brilliant in my view was the lightsaber battle between Yoda and Count Dooku. That was just cool.
So clever my foot fell off.

I've always been partial to the Asteroid belt chase scene in Empire. John Williams absolutely nails it with the music and the visuals are absolutely stunning for that era. It set a benchmark for 'flight chase' scenes.

A vote here for the Mos Eisley cantina ... The band, 'he doesn't like you', and Han Solo sending Greedo on his way.

Ah yes, that was good. The use of the light sabre there was a key part of the lost arm theme.

But I still feel that Darth Vader's first entrance on the blockage runner was somehow special.

Too many to mention (although "I know" has to be the best line!), but the opening scene from SW3 is the only time since I saw the first one that I got that hairs on the back of my neck feeling.

The grandeur of this on a cinema screen was worthy of the ambition of the original film.

The fly by that developed into the battle was just brilliant, I thought.

Hahahahaha, I forget how funny this advert is, brilliant and thanks for making me chuckle on a Tuesday afternoon stuck in work. How long until the weekend? :(

Not sure of the best, but the worst has to be the medal award scene at end of IV . Cringe worthy.

As for good scenes - how about the battle scene with the AT-AT in V.

There a just too many. But I love the battle on Hoth, more a sequence than a scene but it gets my vote.

That sequence is worthy of a battle at the end of film, not at the beginning. Very good indeed.

For me, in Return of the Jedi, when the Falcon goes into the bowels of the Death Star, hits its target and then races for the exit with the explosion in hot pursuit

In the new one when they have the light sabre fight, if one had gone Ni and the other one had said come back and fight you basterd it would have made the film worth watching.
