Lovely example. Definitely a keeper!
Congrats, I know next to nothing about Rolex watches but I have noticed on many a pic in the past, that quite a few folk leave on what I assume is the case back sticker (as green as you like) are folk just trying to protect the case back, if so I would have thought this is one of the least likely places to get marked up, other than a boob up on trying to remove the case back.
Most of my watches were used exaples over the years, but I recently bought a couple of new to me pieces, after initially wearing them for a few days to make sure all was well, I remove the stickers (yes I do keep them in the box, sad I know) not sure if it's my imagination but I find them irratstiiratating, they seem to make the watch stick to my wrist, that's enough of my rambling enjoy your new purchase.
Some people think the case back sticker adds value, or proves the watch has been cared for (or never been used to dive). I usually leave them on for some time to prevent scratches from the bracelet when I lay the watch on my nightstand at night.
Look great a really nice watch
Hate stickers left on. They're all gungey and grungey, and pick up dirt and hairs and stick to you! I don't wear my clothes with the tags still in, and similarly, I take the stickers off watches, and clean the adhesive residue off.
If you're buying an incredible vintage piece purely to keep in the safe, that's one thing, but for wearing, I prefer to wear them as they were meant to be worn. Those stickers are just to protect them from the try-ons and looky-loos.

Lovely and a sensible price. Would have that myself if I'd seen it.
The 16610 is a true classic in my book. Last sub before they had to go and make the case all huge and blocky for no reason. Nice catch!
Great watch and as said looks like it's been cherished!
Nice story and great watch. As you love it and wear it daily, I'd remove the stickers and enjoy it without any hassle. You're never going to sell it away.
